PA’I Foundation, in collaboration with the Hawai’i State Art Museum and the Mayor’s Office of Culture and Arts, will present the 2nd Annual Keiki Art Day featuring hands- on art activities for keiki and their families. Native Hawaiian cultural practitioners and artists will man art stations where children can create sand art, watercolors, lei making, kapa beating, weaving, featherwork, storytelling, t-shirt screening and much more. This will provide an opportunity for the master artists to work and interact with the children, create opportunities for children to experience both contemporary and traditional Hawaiian art activities and foster an appreciation and interest in the arts to ensure future generations of native Hawaiian artists and cultural practitioners.
